Japanese Kaya wood, 2 inch Shogi and Go board tabletop. 2" Shogi and Go board tabletop are always available. We can also produce other items if they are out of stock. We are the producer of Japanese close grain patterns.
丸太から盤に出来るサイズに切り出し約5〜8年乾燥させ、さらに あら取りして一年乾燥。
やっと盤に製作出来ますが その間にカビや割れなど入れば価値が下がります。
この工程を経て 何も無く仕上がった盤はとても貴重な私の作品です。少しでも 良い作品をお客様届けられたらと思います。
The logs are cut into board-sized pieces and dried for about 5 to 8 years, and then dried for another year.
Finally, the board can be made, but if mold or cracks appear during this time, the value of the board will decrease.
The finished board without any mold or cracks is a very valuable piece of work. I hope that I can deliver even just a little bit better work to my customers.
